Want list

Track cards you are looking for and find them in friends' collections.

Your want list is an acquisition backlog — cards you still need for decks or your collection. It lives under Collection → Wants. ScryBindr uses it to find matches in friends' and group members' shared binders.

Adding wants

Search for a card, then choose whether you need this printing only or any printing of that card. Set priority, quantity, whether it is for your collection and/or specific decks, and optional notes.

Browsing your list

Switch between list and grid views. Tap a card name or image for a larger preview. Search by name, set, deck, or friend; filter by priority, printing specificity, and finish; and sort by priority, name, quantity, price, or friend matches. Summary cards at the top jump to deck needs, collection wants, or high priority.

Editing wants

Open a want and choose Edit to change quantity, priority, wanted-for (collection and decks), and notes. You can also switch between this printing only and any printing after you add the want. If switching would duplicate another want for the same card, ScryBindr merges them.

Matches

When someone owns a card that matches one of your wants in a binder you can see, ScryBindr surfaces the match on your home page, want list, friend profiles, and group pages. Matches respect binder visibility:

  • Public binders — visible to friends and group members
  • Friends only binders — visible to accepted friends only (not to group members unless you are also friends)
  • Private binders — never included in match results for other people

An any printing want matches any version of that card in a visible binder. A specific-printing want only matches that exact printing.

Friend and group matches

Friend profiles and the Matches tab on a group page show overlapping wants and haves. The Groups list also shows a total match count per group when any exist.

Starting trades from wants

From a friend's or group member's profile, trade match banners show cards you want that they have (and vice versa). You can start a trade directly from a match. See Trades for the full flow.

Wishlist visibility

You can control who can see your want list (private, friends, or public) from the Wants page. Use Share to copy a public link (/w/…) — when visibility is Public, visitors can view the list without an account. That is separate from binder visibility, which still gates which of your cards appear in other people's match results. Full details are in Public links.
