Decks
Build and manage constructed decks from your collection.
Decks let you assemble cards for Commander and other formats. Track quantities, finishes, and estimated deck value. Completeness is based on what you own in My Cards, not on Bindr placement.
Creating a deck
From the Decks page, create a new deck with a name and visibility, or import a list. Open the deck to set a commander, add mainboard cards, and optional sideboard entries.
Commander and companions
On a Commander deck, pick your commander from the catalog. When the commander unlocks a second slot — Partner, Partner with…, Friends forever, Choose a Background, Doctor's companion, or Doctor — ScryBindr shows an add control for that companion. Time Lord Doctors (for example The Second Doctor) unlock a Doctor's companion slot; cards with Doctor's companion unlock a Doctor slot. Background search looks for Background enchantments; Doctor slots search for the matching creature types/keywords.
Tap the commander (or companion) name or art to open a large card preview. The slot also shows the estimated TCGPlayer price for that printing.
Adding cards
Use the search field next to Scan in the deck toolbar. Type a card name (optional set code), then pick a printing from the results. Turn on Foil before picking to prefer foil or etched when the printing supports it.
- Scan — photograph one or more cards and add the matches to the deck
- Import — paste a deck list or use a Moxfield / Archidekt link
- Export — copy a text deck list for use elsewhere
Viewing the list
Switch between grid, list, and type stacks. Tap a card to preview it. On first visit, a short tip explains preview and the overflow menu.
Editing cards
Open the ⋯ menu (or right-click / long-press) on a card for edit and collect actions. Deck edit options appear at the top:
- Change printing — swap to another version of the same card
- Make foil / nonfoil / etched — cycle finish when the printing supports more than one
- Remove from deck — delete that printing entry
- Add one / Add more… — increase quantity by one, or enter a custom amount
- Remove one / Remove more… — decrease quantity by one, or enter a custom amount
From the same menu (or the preview dialog) you can also add the card to your want list or into one of your Bindrs.
Deck Doctor
On a Commander deck that already has a commander, Deck Doctor reads the list and shows a power level from the cards already in it, using Commander bracket rules (Game Changers, extra turns, and mass land denial). Pick the bracket you want, then review weak cards, missing removal, mana problems, and synergies. Each suggestion names a card to cut and a specific card to add, with a short explanation. Apply swap replaces that one copy in the deck. Close the dialog to leave the list unchanged.
Suggestions stay inside the commander's color identity and Commander legality, and they are checked against the ScryBindr catalog before they are shown. Treat them as advice: look at budget, brackets, and the table you play with before you keep a change. Deck Doctor uses the same OpenAI key as card scanning.
Add deck to My Cards
Use Add all to My Cards on a deck to record ownership for every card in the list. ScryBindr ensures you own at least the quantity the deck needs for each printing — it will not double-count copies you already have. Place those cards into Bindrs later if you want them organized on pages.
Visibility and sharing
Like binders, decks can be private, friends-only, or public. Friends can view shared decks from your profile. Group members who are not friends can only see public decks. Share a deck via QR code or link (/d/…); public decks open without login or signup. See Public links for short URLs and visibility rules.
Deck value
Total deck value is estimated from Scryfall TCGPlayer USD prices on each card entry (using that entry's finish), multiplied by quantity. The commander price is shown on the commander slot as well. Use totals as a rough guide when comparing trade offers.
